Business Goals
When Shelby, the founder of Bootights, first told us about her invention, our immediate that was "that's ingenious!" The brand has been featured in Cosmopolitan, People, Glamour and Oprah. Her revolutionary socks and ConnecTech technologoy makes wearing boots comfortable and easy.
It was due for an injection of energy. The look and feel was still stuck looking like everyone else, even though the brand was uniquely different. We knew we needed to:
Reinvigorate the brand;
Reflected a younger audience;
Standout on the shelf and be more competitive.
What We Did
We took quite a lot of time on the brainstorming to see ho much we could push the envelope on the packaging. We looked at what competitors were doing and found that all the packaging in the space showed just a zoom into to the sock. To stand out, we needed to not focus on just the sock.
With this direction in mind, we decided to zoom out and create a fun, almost vintage feeling, packaging that showed the flirty side of Bootights.
What We Achieved
A packaging design that doesn't highlight just the product, but HOW GOOD the person would feel wearing it.
